CONCLUSION: WATCH IT
The kids were probably more than half the film and they were completely fantastic and really fun to watch. They had the greatest comedic timing, whether they meant to or not.
Based On: an original screenplay
Plot: A dysfunctional family – but that’s a normal family. Which is entertaining, and, in this case, uplifting.
Characters: The way each of the kids related to their grandfather and each other was really endearing. The way everyone else related to each other was honest, but not in the boring “I don’t want to watch real life in a movie” kind of way.
